Plurries Overview

This club was created as a place for fans of the rave scene as well as the Furry scene to show off art and get to know one another. You do not have to be a raver to join, nor do you have to be a Fur, or draw anthros. You just have to have an interest. :3

Do anything dumb. Don't flame people, don't spam, don't steal art.. think and be smart. This is not the place for drama.
Submit off-topic art, no matter how cool it is.
Discuss drugs. I love ravers, but I'm still straight-edge, and I don't want that kind of stuff going on here.

Current Contest: PLURRIE MASCOT

Challenge: Create a mascot for our club! Somebody to appear in the DevID, the icon, and as the general face of the Plurrie community.

Submission Requirements
Character
The character MUST BE an anthro or animal. Anything beyond that is up to you- sex, age, clothes, personality, all that jazz. Try to stick with the club's motif.
Do not submit your main fursona, even if you're sure he or she is perfect, because we want the mascot to be the face of this community. Please either use a character that is not of central use on your main page, or create somebody new!
This character must come with a small profile. It can be either posted as a part of the deviation or in the user comments. It must list the entry's Name, Age, Species, Personality, and a summary (this can be a four-letter sentance to a paragraph) of why he or she should be the mascot. Please don't just put "she's a raver and a furry and loves glowsticks!" I know there doesn't seem like a lot to work with, but this is a contest to try your creativity. I know you can do it. Please feel free to add anything else that is interesting about your character.

Submission
Please submit a finished piece. No lineart, no sketches- full colour piece that you would feel comfortable posting as a deviation. Spend a little time on it, show details, even post a colour refrence if you want to, but no little chibi sketches (unless your character IS a chibi, and if it is, say so.)
Keep backgrounds simple. This doesn't mean you have to skip backgrounds altogether, but make sure the character is more prominant than its surroundings.
SEND THE CLUB A NOTE with your entry, don't post it on the user page, please, just to keep everything organized.

DEADLINE: MARCH 15th.
PRIZE: Your character will be the OFFICIAL Plurries mascot. This entails he or she being on our first devID, icon, and starring as the face of the growing community. All entries will be part of a chibi drawing by myself. I know it isn't much, but the point of the contest was to find us a face.
